ICEA Lion Group joins CFO East Africa as corporate member

ICEA Lion Group is the latest financial services giant to join CFO East Africa, bringing its senior finance team into the community.

ICEA Lion Group has signed up as a corporate member of CFO East Africa, with Kevin Nyakeri, CFO of the life business, and Zipporah Chege, CFO of the general business, both gaining full access to the community's events, insights, and networks.

They are joined by Paul Mutua, head of finance for the general business, Joseph Kimani, group financial analyst, and Theresiah Syuki, finance manager. All five will attend CFO summits across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda, as well as affiliated events in South Africa, including CFO Day, Executive Day and the Finance Indaba.

The package also includes print editions of CFO East Africa and CFO South Africa magazines, certificates for up to 56 hours of verifiable CPD, and invitations to the annual CFO Awards in both regions.

Formed through the 2012 merger of the Insurance Company of East Africa and Lion of Kenya Insurance Company Limited, ICEA Lion Group is one of Kenya's largest financial services providers. The group offers life and general insurance, pensions, investments and trusts, with operations across Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.

Corporate membership is available to CFOs who would like to support the community's activities while extending growth benefits to their senior finance team members at an annual investment of $1,950.
