East Africa's largest banking group brings its senior finance leadership into CFO East Africa, as KCB Group signs up as a corporate member of the community.
Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) has joined CFO East Africa as a corporate member, with group CFO Lawrence Kimathi receiving full access to the community's events, insights, and networks, alongside Beatrice Mwiriki, group financial manager, and Eric Ochieng, head of financial reporting.
They will attend CFO summits across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda, as well as affiliated events in South Africa, including CFO Day, Executive Day and the Finance Indaba.
The package also includes print editions of CFO East Africa and CFO South Africa magazines, certificates for up to 56 hours of verifiable CPD, and invitations to the annual CFO Awards in both regions.
KCB Group, established in 1896, is the largest financial services organisation in East Africa by asset size, with total assets of approximately USD 12.84 billion as at mid-2023. The group operates across Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo, with over 354 branches and more than 26 million customers.
