MTN Rwanda joins CFO East Africa as corporate member

Rwanda's largest telecommunications company brings its senior finance team into the community as MTN Rwanda signs up as a corporate member.

MTN Rwanda has joined CFO East Africa as a corporate member, with acting CFO Dunstan Stober gaining full access to the community's events, insights, and networks, alongside Joel Murwanashyaka, senior manager for reporting, Lawrence Gakwaya, senior manager for tax, and Allan Kagenza, investor relations.

The executives will attend CFO summits across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda, as well as affiliated events in South Africa, including CFO Day, Executive Day and the Finance Indaba.

The package also includes print editions of CFO East Africa and CFO South Africa magazines, certificates for up to 56 hours of verifiable CPD, and invitations to the annual CFO Awards in both regions.

Established in 1998, MTN Rwanda is the country's largest telecommunications and fintech company, with over 7 million subscribers and a dominant market share. A subsidiary of the MTN Group, the company was the first mobile network operator to list its shares on the Rwanda Stock Exchange in 2021.

Corporate membership is available to CFOs who would like to support the community's activities while extending growth benefits to their senior finance team members at an annual investment of $1,950.
