NMB Bank has become the latest corporate member of CFO East Africa, giving its senior finance leadership team year-round access to regional finance networks and professional development opportunities.
The membership grants CFO Juma Kimori, head of finance and reporting Robert Mwita and head of financial reporting and tax Rodney Mushi direct access to the full suite of CFO East Africa insights and experiences. The three executives will participate in CFO summits held throughout Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda, as well as related events in South Africa such as CFO Day, Executive Day and the Finance Indaba.
Benefits include print subscriptions to CFO East Africa and CFO South Africa magazines, which will be delivered to their desks. They will also receive certificates for up to 56 hours of verifiable continuing professional development (CPD) and invitations to the annual CFO Awards in both regions.
Juma took up the CFO position in May 2021 following a three-year tenure as the bank's chief internal auditor.
Corporate membership is open to CFOs seeking to support the community while providing professional development opportunities for their senior finance teams at an annual cost of $1,950. For more information, contact partnerships manager Humbu Karugo at hkarugo@cfo-ea.com.
