Juma Kimori is the CFO of NMB Bank.
He was appointed to the role in May 2021 after serving as the chief internal auditor for a period of three years. Before joining NMB Bank, Juma had a seven-year stint at Barclays Bank, having joined as the chief internal auditor in April 2011. In January 2016, he took on the concurrent role of regional director for Barclays Bank’s internal audit division in Southern Africa.
Juma began his career as a senior associate at PwC in August 2006. He was appointed as the head of internal audit at African Banking Corporation in December 2009, a position he held for two years.
He holds a BCom in accounting from the University of Dar es Salaam and is a certified public accountant (CPA-T).
