Stivin brings over 13 years of experience in financial services, audit, and strategic finance to his new role.
Stivin Augustino Mwanjibili has been appointed CFO at Bank of Africa Tanzania, effective 25 March 2026. He joins the bank from Absa Bank Tanzania, where he served as head of business performance and analytics.
Stivin began his career as an auditor at KPMG Tanzania in August 2012, working across the financial services sector for four years. In August 2016, he joined Stanbic Bank, where he held two roles over close to eight years: global markets product controller manager and, from August 2018, finance manager for the corporate and investment bank. He moved to Absa Bank Tanzania in March 2024 as head of business performance and analytics, a position he held until his appointment at Bank of Africa Tanzania.
Stivin holds a Bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Dar es Salaam. He is a certified chartered accountant (ACCA) and holds a CPA(T) certification from the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) of Tanzania.
