Alice Wathika is the CFO of Lake Turkana Wind Power (LTWP).

She began her career as an accounts assistant at Ameeco Management before joining Grain Bulk Handlers as a finance clerk, rising through the ranks to the position of group finance manager in 2010.

In 2016, Alice took on the role of head of finance at corporate security and risk management firm Salama Fikira. After two years, she was appointed to a similar position at Kipeto Energy, where she led the finance function for five years.

Alice is a certified public secretary (CPS) and certified public accountant (CPA), having obtained both qualifications from Strathmore University. She also holds an MBA from the University of Liverpool.

Lake Turkana Wind Power is a wind farm that supplies renewable energy to Kenya’s national grid. It is the largest wind farm in Africa, covering 160 square kilometres with a capacity of 310 MW. LTWP hosts 365 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 850 kilowatts.
