Ange Ntiranyibagirwa is the head of finance at Bank of Kigali Group, a role he assumed in November 2023.
Ange began his career at British American Tobacco (BAT) Rwanda in June 2006, where he worked as financial accounting manager until November 2009.
In November 2009, he joined Millicom International Cellular (Tigo) as financial controller, a position he held until June 2012. He managed audits, compliance, reporting, and taxation while training and supervising finance staff. He was promoted to head of financial planning and analysis in June 2012 and served in the role until August 2015.
Ange then moved to Strawtec Construction Group as finance director until April 2017. Additionally, he was appointed chief finance officer and board member at Strawtec Construction & Manufacturing, a position he held until August 2017.
He joined Tigo Rwanda in September 2017 as head of financial planning and analysis, leading budgeting, forecasting, and profitability modelling until May 2018. From June 2018 to November 2023, he worked at IHS Towers as senior finance manager, producing financial reports, managing multi-currency consolidations, and guiding executive decision-making. During this period, he also served briefly as chairperson of the audit committee at Rwanda’s Ministry of Health in July 2020.
In November 2023, Ange took up his current role as group head of finance at Bank of Kigali (BK) Group .
Ange holds an ACCA accounting professional certificate and a master’s degree in accounting from the National University of Rwanda.
