Christine Nakayenga is the head of finance and support services at Population Services International (PSI) Uganda. She was appointed to the role in March 2024, with oversight of finance, supply chain, and information technology. Prior to that, she served as head of finance from January 2023 to March 2024 and as financial analytics manager from January 2020 to December 2022.
Christine joined PSI Uganda in January 2018 as a financial analyst. She had earlier served at PACE, first as regional finance and administration officer from January 2013 to April 2015, and later as payables and inventory accountant from April 2015 to July 2017. She briefly worked as an AP accountant at PSI Uganda from August 2017 to December 2017.
Before moving into the non-profit sector, Christine was a lead generator at Barclays Bank from October 2009 to June 2011. She also held accounts assistant roles at H&P , Price Updates Certified Public Accountants, and Uganda Revenue Authority.
Christine holds an MBA in finance from Heriot-Watt University, a BA in economics from Makerere University, and an advanced diploma in management accounting from CIMA.
