Francis Ngumbi is the group chief financial officer of Kisima Farm.

He began his career at Genpact, where he worked as a payables and receivables accountant at its Africa Business Service Centre. He subsequently joined The Coca-Cola Company as a marketing procurement analyst covering Central, East and West Africa, before moving to Diageo in London as a finance planning and reporting analyst for EABL International Markets, working across Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan and European export markets.

Francis then joined Beiersdorf as regional commercial controller for Central and West Africa, overseeing 18 markets from Accra, before returning to East Africa as head of finance Kenya at Tata International . He also served as Kenya ethics counsellor and managed the company’s CSR programme. In December 2023, he joined Kisima Farm as group CFO.

Francis was named a Business Daily Africa Top 40 Under 40 honoree in 2024 and a Forty Under 40 Africa honoree in 2026. He holds a BCom in finance from Kenyatta University and an MCom in strategic management from Strathmore Business School. He has completed executive leadership programmes at London Business School and is currently completing the Senior Executive Leadership Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. He is a qualified CPA and is pursuing the CS qualification.
