Justin Mollel named incoming group CFO at EABL

He joins EABL from Diageo Ireland, where he serves as finance director, bringing over fifteen years of finance and leadership experience across Africa and Europe.

East African Breweries (EABL) has appointed Justin Mollel as group CFO designate. He will take up the role on 1 May 2026 and assume full responsibility as Ggoup CFO on 1 July 2026, succeeding outgoing group CFO Risper Genga Ohaga.

Justin joins from Diageo Ireland, where he has served as finance director since August 2024, leading financial operations and business growth strategy from Dublin. Before that, he was finance and strategy director at Guinness Ghana Breweries from March 2022 to July 2024.

He spent nearly four years at Serengeti Breweries in Tanzania as finance director, having first served in an acting capacity before being confirmed in the role in May 2018. His earlier career at Serengeti included roles as commercial finance and business performance manager, commercial finance manager and financial controller.

Justin holds an MBA and a BCom in accounting, both from the University of Dar es Salaam. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a registered member of the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) of Tanzania.
