Dederi Wimana

Dederi Wimana is the chief finance officer at I&M Bank (Rwanda) , a position she has held since August 2021. 

Before assuming her current role, she served as chief internal auditor at I&M Bank Rwanda from August 2019 to July 2021, where she led the bank’s audit function and strengthened risk management processes. Earlier, she worked as deputy chief internal auditor at the same bank between July 2013 and July 2019.

Prior to its acquisition by I&M Bank Group, Dederi held senior finance positions at Banque Commerciale du Rwanda, where she was deputy chief finance officer from June 2010 to June 2013 and management accountant from June 2005 to June 2010. Her professional journey began at Bank of Kigali, where she served as management trainee from September 1998 to December 2000 and later as financial accountant until June 2005.

She holds a Bachelor of economic sciences from Universite Catholique de Graben and an ACCA certification.
